Aquatic legal surveys

The aquatic legal survey is a technical documentation indispensable for acquiring the aquatic and legal permit issued by the authorised body and permitting water use. The rules of acquiring and issuing permits are regulated by Water Law Act of 20.07.2017.
The permit required under Water Law Act is indispensable for:
- Special use of water;
- Sewage into water or soil;
- Collection and disposal of surface or ground water;
- Water transfer and artificial groundwater recharge;
- Damming and retention of inland surface water;
- Using water for energetic purposes;
- Using water for navigation and floating;
- Extraction of stone, gravel, sand and other materials from water and cutting of plants from water or the shore;
- Use of inland surface water for fishing purposes;
- Making constructions for implementation of civil structures and works in areas of imminent flooding;
- Water control and terrain shape change in areas adjacent to water and influencing water flow conditions;
- Making water facilities;
- Agricultural use of sewage within the scope not covered by usual water use ;
- Long-lasting lowering of underground water table;
- Groundwater damming;
- Sewage and waste gathering in mining areas made for treatment water;
- Drainage of facilities or construction excavations and mines;
- Entering the substances inhibiting the development of algae into the surface waters;
- Entering industrial sewage including substances especially hazard to water environment into the sewers owned by other entities.
